LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's golf squad will be traveling to Fort Collins, Colo., to start the fall season at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic and play on Sept., 8th and 9th.

The Lady Raiders return nine letterwinners from a squad that advanced to the NCAA Central Regional tournament last season. Seniors Megan Dowdy, Gloriana Soto, Ulrika Van Niekerk and sophomores Alex Gibson and Jackie Smith will be playing in the first tournament. Last season van Niekerk led the team in stroke average with a 76.38.

Tech will be playing in five tournaments during the fall season and will host the McHaney/Morehead Invitational on Oct. 6th and 7th.
