LUBBOCK, Texas -  Texas Tech begins the 2013-14 season on Sept. 20 with its first fall tournament in Albuquerque, N.M., at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational at the University of New Mexico.

The Lady Raiders begin their first tournament with a revamped lineup that will for the first time in four years not include Kim Kaufman or Gabby Dominguez.

Redshirt freshman Victoria Uresti looks to bring her improved golf game to her first collegiate tournament after competing in several state and regional amateur tournaments this summer.

Tech also adds junior transfer Stephanie Bertelsen, who comes to Tech after spending two years at Western Texas College in nearby Snyder, Texas.

Bertelsen was a two-time NJCAA All-American and finished sixth at the NJCAA National Championship in the spring.

Uresti and Bertelsen join senior Hannah Arnold, junior Elin Arvidsson and sophomore Kimmy Hill as the five players for Tech in their first tournament.

The players will play a practice round on Thursday before the first round begins Friday morning and will end the tournament on Saturday.

The 16-team field consists of Colorado, Fresno State, Iowa, Iowa State, Nevada, New Mexico, UNLV, Northwestern, Oregon, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, Texas Tech, Texas El Paso, UC Davis, and Wyoming.

Fans can keep up with the tournament on Golfstat by going to www.golfstat.com on Friday and Saturday for live up-to-date scores on the course.

TexasTech.com will have full results and a recap following each round of competition.
