LUBBOCK, Texas - The women's golf team shot a 611 for the first two rounds at the Roadrunner Invitational. Texas Tech is currently in eighth-place out of 18 teams.

Junior Jennifer Newhouse is in 14th-place with a 74-75, sophomore Stephanie Dukes is tied for 21st with a 76-75, sophomore Melanie Hunt is tied for 41st with a 78-77. Senior Priscillia Hunt is tied for 53rd with an 80-78 and freshman Jackie Ey is tied for 58th with a 78-81.

The women will tackle the New Mexico State University Golf Course starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. The course is 6117 yards and a par-72.

TCU is currently in the lead with a combined score of 581 and TCU player Courtney Wood is leading the individual tourney with a three under par.
