LUBBOCK, Texas - Coming off its best finish this fall, the Texas Tech women's golf team returns to the links Sunday at the UTSA Alamo Invitational held at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course in San Antonio.

The Lady Raiders finished second and a stroke off the lead nearly two weeks ago at the Susie Berning Maxwell Classic in Norman, Okla., marking Tech's second top-five performance of the season.

Kim Kaufman was among the individual leaders throughout the tournament as she took the opening round lead only to finish in second place. Gabby Dominguez joined her in the top five as she used a 3-under final round to move all the way into a tie for third overall.

The Lady Raiders remained at No. 20 in the Golfweek rankings this week, while Kaufman, despite no action since the last poll, moved up a spot to No. 19 in the individual selections.

Tech will once again be facing another tough field in San Antonio that includes conference foes Baylor and Texas A&M along with other in-state schools such as SMU, TCU, Texas State, and host UTSA.

Elin Arvidsson will be Tech's first player on the course Sunday as she tees off the opening round at 12:20 p.m. from the first hole. The three-day tournament will resume Monday with the second round while the final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
