LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's golf team shot a combined score of 916 to finish in sixth place at the Roadrunner Invitational in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Junior Jennifer Newhouse, sophomore Stephanie Dukes and Melanie Hunt all finished in the Top 25. Newhouse shot 74-75-75 for eighth, Dukes shot 76-75-77 for 20th and Hunt shot a 78-77-74 for 22nd. Senior Priscillia Hunt shot an 80-78-79 for 51st and freshman Jackie Ey shot 78-81-83 for 65th.

New Mexico State won the all-around tournament with a combined score of 886. Sasha Medina of New Mexico State won the individual tournament with a with a one-under effort.

There were eight Big 12 teams competing in the tournament with Texas Tech beating Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas State and Colorado. Oklahoma State finished in the third position with Oklahoma and Baylor tied for fourth.

The tournament finishes out the fall schedule for women's golf. The spring season starts February at the Colorado Mountain View Tournament, in Tuscon, Arizona.
