Second Round Woes Drop Tech to Fifth
Hunt loses lead, remains in top 10 in an eighth place tie
Nov. 2, 1999 LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech struggled to find its stroke in the second round of the Roadrunner Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M., Tuesday, posting a round of 316 and falling to fifth place overall after finishing third in the first round. Red Raider junior Priscillia Hunt (Phoenix / Horizon), the tournament’s leader after the first round, shot a 78 and fell in an eighth place tie. Hunt’s 78 was the best individual round of the day for the Red Raiders. The final round of the tournament tees off tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. (CT).
