LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech and head women's golf coach Stacey Totman announced the signing of Megan Hull of Mansfield, Texas, for the 2001-02 school year.

"We are very excited about the addition of Megan to our team," Totman said. "She brings a great amount of national experience and talent to our program.

"I know that she will make an immediate impact on this team. She is a very hard worker both on the golf course and in the classroom."

Hull has several Top-10 finishes on both the Junior North Texas Professional Golf Association and the American Junior Golf Association tours. She won the 16-Division of the Texas-Oklahoma junior golf tournament and qualified for the USGA Junior Nationals in 1999.

The Mansfield High School senior is the two-time defending champion for District 7-5A. She also finished her junior year with a third-place finish at the state tournament.
