LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer team will wrap up their 1997 season this weekend as they take on Stephen F. Austin and Centenary College.

"Stephen F. Austin has improved drastically. They have a bunch of new kids in. We have to play with the same intensity and at the same level as we would against Texas A&M or Colorado. If we do that we should win," Texas Tech Head Coach Felix Oskam said.
On Sunday, the Red Raiders will play their final match of the season as they travel to Shreveport, La. to challenge a Centenary team that has a 12-2 overall mark and is undefeated in conference play. Game time is 1 p.m.
The Ladies are led by Holly Duncan who has 12 goals and three assists on the season. Jacintha Wick has also accumulated 27 points, by scoring 11 goals and assisting on five others. Goalkeeper Katie Bowman has started in 12 games for the Ladies. She has 37 saves and 11 goals against. Her goals against average for the season is 1.34.
"They are going to be tough. They are on a roll right now. We have to be prepared to play," Oskam said.
