Texas Tech pushes winning streak to six with 2-0 shutout of UC Santa Barbara

2010 - SENIOR SEASON
Started and played in 11 matches ... named Academic All-Big 12 first team ... named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week Aug. 24 ... played 901:50 minutes in goal with 45 saves ... has a 1.10 goals-against average and a .804 saves percentage ... recorded five-consecutive shutouts to start the season ... has six shutouts this season and nine shutouts in her career ... had eight saves at No. 12 Oklahoma State ... tied career-high nine saves vs. Nebraska ... is 6-4 in goal.

2009 - JUNIOR SEASON
Started and played in 11 matches in goal ... started in each of the first two matches against UTSA and Utah State ... played only the first half in both matches as Erin Wikelius took over after halftime ... did not see action in the next six matches, however ... played the full 90 minutes against Weber State, marking her first complete match since 2006 ... split weekend matches with Wikelius during Big 12 play ... posted her first career shutout against Iowa State ... followed the performance with another shutout the next weekend against Baylor ... posted possibly the best performance of her career against Texas A&M, shutting out the Aggies after facing 34 total shots in the match ... tied the Tech single-season record for most shutouts during conference play that was set in 2007 ... surrendered only 13 goals for a 1.22 goals against average which finished seventh in the Big 12 ... her 1.07 goals against average in conference matches was third overall ... her three shutouts in Big 12 matches were tied for third in the conference ... finished with 30 saves and a .698 saves percentage.

2007 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Saw action in only one match, Tech's 4-1 victory over UTSA, playing just over 12 minutes, while collecting no saves.

2006 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw playing time in the goal for seven matches, including one start ... collected 14 saves during her freshman campaign ... recorded a career high of seven saves against No. 12 Texas A&M.

URSULINE ADADEMY OF DALLAS
Member of four-time Tapps Championship team (`03-'06) ... received All-State Tapps accolades from 2004 through 2006 ... served as two-time team captain ... is a member of the Texans club team, who has been the reigning State Cup champions since 2004 ... the Texans won the USYSA National Championship title in 2006 ... in that tournament, Pitts was named the Golden Glove award winner ... won the Region 3 championship in 2006 ... helped guide the club team Sting to a 2003 USYSA Region 3 championship and third place fi nish at the 2003 USYSA Nationals.
