High School: Named MVP of University of Colorado soccer camp in 2001 ... Led Fort Collins High to several successful seasons, including 2001 when she was named offensive team MVP ... Three time Academic All-State award recipient, she was also selected All-Conference in both 2001 and 2002 ... Selected as MVP of her club team, Arsenal Gold from 2000-2002.

Personal: Born Nov. 21, 1984, to parents John Wetzel and June Holmstrom ... Mother is a teacher who attended the University of Illinois and father attended the University of Dayton ... Has siblings Lande, 27, Larissa, 24, and Mara, 22.
