Red Raider Soccer Falls to Oral Roberts, 2-1|

TULSA, Okla. - Sophomore forward Kim Cypert tallied her first goal of the season, but it was not enough to lift Texas Tech soccer to a victory on Friday as they were defeated by Oral Roberts, 2-1, in Tulsa, Okla.
The Golden Eagles (2-2) jumped out to a quick start in the match as they took the game's first lead at the 16:08 mark when Keisha Wannnamaker tallied her first goal of the season off an ORU throw in.
Cypert was able to tie the game in the 30th minute as she beat ORU goalkeeper Stef Gurley on an unassisted goal. For the game, Cypert led the Red Raiders with three shots. The tie was broke just moments later in the 33rd minute as Golden Eagle forward Jessica Kellogg took a pass from Lindsey Cook and fired a shot past Tech goalkeeper Megan Knauss.
In the second half, the Red Raiders fought hard to collect the game-tying goal, but could not find the equalizer despite outshooting Oral Roberts 10-5.
Texas Tech soccer's road trip continues on Sunday when they take the field against Tulsa at 2:30 p.m.
