COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Senior Megan Knauss turned in a strong effort in goal, but it was not enough to lift the Texas Tech women's soccer team to a victory as it fell to Colorado College by a score of 1-0 in a non-conference match in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Friday.

Knauss collected four saves as she started and played the match's first 83 minutes, before fellow senior Beth Lippert came in for the final seven minutes of the contest.

At the 79:03 mark of the second half, the Tigers' Lisa Balsama tallied the only goal of the match.

The loss drops Texas Tech's overall record this season to 1-11, while Colorado College improves to 8-4-3. The Tigers move to 2-1 against Big 12 opponents this season, as they defeated Nebraska by a score of 1-0 on Sept. 9.

The Red Raiders are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Austin, Texas, to battle the Texas Longhorns at Myers Stadium at 1 p.m.
