COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Texas Tech women's soccer team (3-14-0, Big 12 0-9-0) was defeated by the Missouri Tigers, 4-1, this evening. Junior Megan Knauss tallied 11 saves while in net.

Tech's lone goal of the 90 minutes was scored by freshman Ashley Reed. Reed's season goal total is now at three. The Red Raiders tallied one shot on goal and six shots.

Junior Megan Knauss started in net for the Red Raiders. She played the entire 90 minutes for Tech. Knauss registered 11 saves during her action in net. Her save total for the season is now at 41, as she is currently leading the Red Raider goalkeepers in saves. Tonight's match also saw seven Red Raiders play for the entire 90 minutes.

Tech soccer continues its road series as it travels to Southeast Missouri State to face the Indians, Sun., Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. Tickets for the 2004 season are available by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 742-TECH (8324) or (888) GO-BIG-12.
