Red Raiders Drop a 7-0 Decision to Ninth-Ranked Nebraska in Women's Soccer October 30, 1998 LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer team could not get past a stingy Nebraska defense and Texas Tech suffered a 7-0 loss to the ninth-ranked Cornhuskers Friday afternoon at R.P. Fuller Stadium. Tech falls to a 7-6-3 overall record, 3-4-2 in Big 12 play while Nebraska improves to 14-2-1, 9-0 in league play. Nebraska's seven goals were the most allowed by a Texas Tech soccer team since Texas A&M beat Tech, 8-0, on Oct. 11, 1996. In their last four meetings, Nebraska has outscored the Red Raiders, 17-0.
