LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech soccer team hosted its postseason banquet Saturday evening at the Overton Hotel in Lubbock.

The banquet celebrated the most successful season in school history while also honoring a senior class that combined for 55 victories in the last four years.

The 2013 Red Raiders won a school record 18 matches while advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight season. Tech went unbeaten in Big 12 play and 10-1 in matches played at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

Tech also boasted one of the most stifling defensive units in the country allowing just nine goals on the season - a mark that matched the previous Big 12 record. The Red Raiders shutout 17 of their 23 opponents on the season.
