"The 2014 class is one we have been eagerly awaiting their arrival on campus." head coach Tom Stone said. "These players are not only a great fit for us on the soccer field, but they are excellent students and will be terrific representatives of the Red Raider Nation. We obviously had some significant needs to fill with the graduation of the most successful class in program history and we feel these needs have been met on the defensive and offensive ends of the field."
Texas Tech went unbeaten in Big 12 play in 2013 while advancing to its second-straight NCAA Tournament. The Red Raiders also continued to protect their home field as Tech won a school record 10 games at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

Fancher is a tireless worker and likes to run at players, something lacking in a lot of forwards these days. We are excited to be getting our first player trained by Danny Graville and Joe Becher out of the Lou Fuze Soccer Club in Mizzouri. "
