LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head soccer coach Felix Oskam announced the signing of Carrie Jones and Lindsey Duke to National Letters of Intent on Saturday.

Carrie Jones, a native of Watauga, Texas, will graduate from Haltom High School in May and will join the Red Raiders this fall. Wautaga served as a team captain this past season and played all four years on the varsity squad. She was an All-District second-team pick in 1999 and 2000 and was named her high school's offensive MVP those same years. Jones was also a member of the Olympic Development Team state team and regional teams from 1997-00.

Lindsey Duke, the third player from Lubbock signed by Oskam in this signing period, is a senior at Coronado High School where she has been an outstanding player for the Mustangs. Duke was the district leader in assists in 1999 and was a second-team All-District pick that same year. She helped lead Coronado High School to the 1998 Bi-District Championship and a second-place finish in the district in 1999. Duke was on the 2002 Under-18 North Texas State Olympic Development team and competed in the National Championships.
