LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head soccer coach Felix Oskam signed his eighth and final student athlete of the 2002 recruiting class as he signed Nykebing F. Denmark native Johanna Rasmussen.

Rasmussen will join the Red Raiders in the Fall of 2002 and will be the only foreign player on the Tech team. Rasmussen played on the Danish National Team each of the last three years and is currently playing on the under-19 team as well as her club team, B 1921. Last season Rasmussen played on the under-18 national team that finished in third place at the European Championships held last July in Oslo, Norway.

She will play the midfield and forward positions at Texas Tech under Oskam.
