LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head soccer coach Felix Oskam announced today that Nicole Frilot has singed financial aid papers with the university and will transfer to Texas Tech from Sacramento State University.

Frilot, a 5'7 sophomore midfielder from Albuquerque, N.M., will join the Red Raiders this fall after spending last season at Sacramento State. Frilot signed with the Hornets after playing four seasons at LaCueva High School in Albuquerque.

She played in 13 games last season at Sacramento State while her team finished with a 5-10-2 mark overall which was good enough for a third place finish in the Big Sky Conference.

While at La Cuevea High School, Frilot was named All-AAAA District, All-City, All-State and was an Albuquerque Journal All-Star as a senior.
