LUBBOCK, Texas - After meeting with players and speaking with New Zealand team officials, the Texas Tech women's soccer program has decided to cancel the team's exhibition match with the New Zealand Nation Team, originally scheduled for Friday night at R. P. Fuller Stadium.

The team is mourning the loss of freshman team member Allison Horn, who passed away this week from injuries sustained in a weekend car accident.

Tech will continue its spring exhibition schedule on Sat., April 12, as it host a pair of matches, facing off against Angelo State at 10 a.m. and the Tech Alumni team at 7 p.m.
