LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech soccer team continued its undefeated spring schedule Friday as the Raiders topped West Texas A&M, 2-1, at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

Tech would get on the board first in the match's first 10 minutes as Leanne Mihelich would net the rebound from a Taylor Lytle shot from the left-side of the box. West Texas A&M would answer, though, with seven minutes in the half as the Lady Buffs would get by Tech goalkeeper Colleen Pitts.

Dawn Ward would nearly give Tech the lead with 12 minutes remaining in the match, but her shot hit the right post and was controlled by the Lady Buffs. Katie Hinds would net the deciding goal two minutes later, however, heading a Tech corner kick to the right side of the net.

With the win, Tech is now 4-0-1 on the spring. The Red Raiders conclude their schedule tomorrow as they travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to face TCU at 7 p.m.
