LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Soccer Coach Felix Oskam announced today the signing of Megan Knauss to a National Letter of Intent and will join the Red Raiders this Fall as a goalkeeper.

Knauss, a senior at Tigard High School in Tigard, Oregon, is a goalkeeper who was named second-team all-league in 2000 and was an honorable mention pick in 2001. She currently plays club soccer with Southside Alliance and led her team to a first place finish this year in the State Cup and will compete in June in the Far West Regional Tournament. Her club team finished in second last season in the State Cup.

Knauss is also a standout in the classroom as she sports a 3.906 cumulative GPA and ranks 46th in a class of 444.
