Texas Tech Hosts Iowa State Sunday Afternoon

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will continue its season long four-game homestand Sunday afternoon as the Red Raiders host Iowa State at the John Walker Soccer Complex. First kick for the Big 12 showdown is set for 1 p.m.
The Red Raiders (9-3, 1-1 Big 12) are coming off a 2-1 victory over Oklahoma Friday night and are in search of their best start through 13 games in program history.
Texas Tech used two first half goals on a rainy Friday night to power past the Sooners en route to its fifth straight victory in a Big 12 home opener. The Red Raiders are a perfect 5-0 in home games this season, and are outscoring opponents 12-2.
The Cyclones (8-5, 0-2 Big 12) enter Sunday's match after falling to No. 17 Oklahoma State Friday night in Stillwater.
Texas Tech has won four of the last five meetings with Iowa State and the Cyclones have not won a match in Lubbock since the 2005 season.
Fans can purchase tickets at the John Walker Soccer Complex on Sunday with prices set at $5 for adults and $3 for children.
