Red Raiders Move to No. 14 in NSCAA Rankings
The Red Raiders appeared in each of the four major soccer polls including a No. 14 ranking in the NSCAA rankings.

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech moved up one spot to No. 14 in the latest NSCAA women’s soccer rankings released Tuesday afternoon.
The ranking marks the highest in school history in the NSCAA poll while the Red Raiders enter the week appearing in each of the four major women’s soccer rankings. Tech also moved to No. 12 in the Top Drawer Soccer rankings, No. 16 in the Soccer America rankings and No. 16 in the Soccer Times rankings.
Texas Tech (10-1-1) picked up a 2-1 victory at Iowa State Friday in the Big 12 opener before ending in a scoreless draw at Oklahoma State Sunday. The successful weekend concluded a season-long six match road trip in which the Red Raiders went a combined 5-0-1 and allowed just one goal.
The Red Raiders return to the John Walker Soccer Complex Friday for their Big 12 home opener against TCU and do so riding an eight match unbeaten streak. First kick for the match is set for 7 p.m.
