Senior finished her career ranked fifth among Tech's all-time leaders in RBI (83) and fourth in home runs (17)...Moved from second base to third base at the start of the year...Finished second on the team in homers with six and in RBI with 24... Played in 56 of Tech's 59 total games...Ranked in the top 10 in the conference in hit by pitches with six...Hit a monstrous home run off Team Canada ace Danielle Lowry in an exhibition game in Las Vegas...Went 2-for-3 with one RBI and her first home run of the season against California in the ASU Kajikawa Classic...Contributed two RBI against New Mexico... Despite a slight drop in production with a .184 season average (and note that she had an exceptional sophomore season hitting the long-ball) the second-baseman was big in key moments ... she especially pounded the Big 10 Conference with a big home run in the win over Ohio State and later knocked in a couple with a key double in a win over Illinios ... already ranks 6th on Tech's all-time RBI list with 59 and in home runs with 11, she'll easily move up in both categories ... a solid student, Bowers is a perennial honor roll member who is completing her degree in Business.

2006 (Sophomore)
Led the team in home runs, RBI and major player injuires with trips to the emergency room; the first two she'll gladly try to duplicate ... Already ranks among Tech's top 10 in several power-hitting statistical categories ... Hit a grand slam in Albuquerque vs. South Dakota State ... sported a 7-game hitting streak from 4/1/06 - 4/13/06 ... Twice knocked in four, including a huge performance in the win over Oklahoma in Norman., hitting two, 2-run bombs ... Earned Academic All-Big 12 second-team honors and is a perennial honor roll student.

2005 (Freshman)
Started all but one game at second base during her freshman campaign ... Was a perfect 7-for-7 on stolen base attempts to tied with Ashley Parker for the team lead in that category ... Set a career-high in hits (3) and runs scored (3) against Liberty on March 20 ... Hit her first collegiate home run and set career-high in RBI with three against Texas State on Feb. 2.

Played softball for Deer Park High School and helped lead team into playoffs ... Garnered many awards including Newcomer of the Year All District, first team All-District shortstop for two years, All-Academic All-District ... She was a member of NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, attended the honors banquets, received academic achievement and did volunteer work with SERVE.
