FRESHMAN SEASON (2014)
Became Texas Tech's most versatile player during her freshman season ... appeared in 51 games while making 47 starts at five different positions ... led all Red Raiders with 26 starts behind the plate ... also made 12 starts at first base, seven at third base and one in both center field and right field ... hit .231 for the season (27-for-117) with five home runs and 21 RBI ... one of eight Red Raiders to record at least 20 RBI (school record) ... recorded a .402 slugging percentage and a .343 on-base percentage ... drew 12 walks and was plunked by eight different pitches ... her eight hit by pitches ranked third on the team ... opened the year with hits in 8 of the first 10 games ... recorded a season-long five game hitting streak from Feb. 8-14 ... posted five multiple-hit games on the year and five multiple-RBI performances ... first career multiple-hit game came March 9 against Abilene Christian ... also drove in a pair of runs that day with her first career home run - a two-run shot ... added a pair of hits in March 19 doubleheader opener against North Texas and March 22 opener against Texas State ... first career multiple-RBI performance came Feb. 14 against Northern Colorado ... hit a two-run double against the Bears in the third inning ... drove in a pair of runs against Northern Colorado again on March 9 ... final multiple-RBI performance in non-conference play came off a two-run homer March 15 at Cal State Fullerton ... really came into her own once Big 12 play began ... KELLER HIGH SCHOOL
One of the more-talented hitters in the state of Texas coming out of high school ... helped lead Keller to three district titles and four trips to the playoffs ... team advanced to the regional finals her first two seasons before being stopped in the regional semifinals her junior and senior years ... named to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's 2013 Super Team as a first team selection ... was selected to the all-district first team three different times ... also garnered a second-team honor once ... broke the school's single-season record for RBI with 47 as a senior ... holds the home run record as well with seven during her sophomore and senior seasons ... is the Keller career record holder for home runs as well ... hit .427 as a senior with six home runs and totaled 16 extra-base hits ... was also a four-year letterwinner on the basketball team as well ... Keller won one basketball district title during that span ... one of three Red Raiders to play for the Texas Glory Adkins Gold travel team, joining Ashley Fultz and Susan Welborn ... two-time Triple Crown All-American ... played alongside fellow teammate Cassie McClure in the Triple Crown All-American Game prior to enrolling at Tech.
