Remained Texas Tech's go-to pitcher in the circle as a sophomore ... had the most starts (29) and appearances (41) of any pitcher ... her 41 appearances were tied for fifth-most in single-season school history ... 29 starts ranked tied for eighth ... finished 14-16 overall with a 3.10 earned-run average ... now has 39 career victories over two seasons, which already ranks fourth all-time at Tech ... her 39 career victories are the most by a Red Raider over the first two seasons since Amanda Renfro had 44 from 1998-99 ... 11 of her 16 losses on the year came when Tech scored three or less runs ... tossed 174.0 innings on the season, ninth-most in school history ... recorded a career-high seven complete games, one of which that was a shutout ... now ranks sixth all-time with 25 career complete games ... was near a 2-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio after striking out 124 hitters while walking 64 ... best performance of the season came on Feb. 23 with a one-hit shutout of UT Arlington ... only hit came off a two-out single in the first inning ... FRESHMAN SEASON (2012)
Recorded the best season for a freshman pitcher in school history ... compiled a 25-11 record, marking the most wins for a Tech freshman pitcher ... win total also ranked second in Tech single-season history as well behind only Amanda Renfro ... only the second pitcher in school history to reach the 20-win mark ... ranked fourth in the Big 12 for victories behind All-American selections Keilani Ricketts (Oklahoma), Chelsea Thomas (Missouri), and Mel Dumezich (Texas A&M) ... her .694 win percentage was the highest in school history for pitchers with at least 25 decisions ... also had a team-high three saves, one shy of the school single-season record ... finished in the top 10 in nearly every pitching single-season category in the school record book ... appeared in 43 total games while making 34 starts in the circle ... ranked fourth and fifth all-time in the two categories ... moved into the top 10 in the career record book as well for appearances and games started ... tossed 210.1 total innings, fifth-most in program history behind only Renfro's totals from the 1998-2001 seasons ... only the third Tech player to reach 200 innings in a season, joining Renfro and Ashly Jacobs ... compiled a 2.33 earned-run average, second-lowest on the team behind Brittany Talley ... was the lowest ERA for a Tech freshman since Renfro's 1.25 average from 1998 ... marked the 10th-lowest ERA in school history as well ... totaled 18 complete games with five being shutouts ... was the most complete games by a Tech pitcher since Renfro in 2001 ... total finished seventh in single-season school history as well ... her five shutouts tied for fifth all-time as well ... held opponents to a .224 average ... was a true ground ball pitcher as majority of outs came in the infield ... posted 156 strikeouts, fifth-most in school history behind only Renfro's totals from 1998-2001 ... struggled with control early in the year before finding her groove midway through non-conference play ... picked up the win in the season opener against San Diego State ... marked the second-straight year a Tech freshman picked up the win in the season opener ... was 0-for-3 in her next three appearances during the Kajikawa Classic ... earned the win in six-straight appearances, beginning with the Feb. 17 contest against Ohio State ... tossed a season-high eight innings against North Texas on Feb. 24, holding the Mean Green to just four hits in the shutout ... threw another shutout just a week later against UT Arlington (March 2) ... recorded her first collegiate no-hitter March 16 at Seton Hall ... struck out a season-high nine Pirates in the five-inning gem ... was the eighth no-hitter in school history and the first since Kermitria Ward on March 13, 2011 ... marked only the third no-hitter from a freshman in school history ... named the top pitcher of the Seton Hall Classic ... IN BIG 12 PLAY ... appeared in 20 of 23 games while making 15 starts ... went 10-7 in league contests with a 2.86 ERA ... tossed seven complete games ... accounted for 98.0 total innings, over 40 more than any other Tech pitcher ... held Texas to just two runs, one of which was earned in the March 7 loss at Austin ... recovered to throw a similar line when the Red Raiders defeated UT April 11 in Lubbock ... matched her season high from earlier in the year by going 8.0 innings in an extra-inning victory over Iowa State on April 1 ... went 5.2 innings in next contest at Oklahoma where she gave up just one run off seven hits in a no-decision ... held Baylor to just one run off five hits in a complete-game victory in the series opener ... helped Tech win the series two days later despite up five runs (three earned) and 11 hits in a complete-game effort ... closed the regular season by picking up the win against Oklahoma State on May 7 ... only gave up one run off five hits in seven innings ... AT NCAA WASHINGTON REGIONAL ... appeared in the Maryland and Washington games, earning the start in both ... finished 0-1 with a 2.62 ERA ... lasted only one inning against the Terrapins before giving way to Brittany Talley ... came pack to pitch a complete game against Washington the next day ... gave up two runs off just three hits to the host Huskies ... only had two strikeouts over the course of the regional.
