Ashly Jacobs

Former Texas Tech standout pitcher Ashly Jacobs enters her second season as the program's graduate student manager.

In this role, Jacobs is responsible for assisting the coaching staff with practice prep, video production, and batting practice.

One of the top pitchers in school history, Jacobs returned the Red Raiders to the postseason during her final season as she posted a career-best 2.01 ERA and 15-9 record in 2010 to help lead Tech to the NCAA Stanford Regional.

She wrapped her career as a fixture in the Tech record book, finishing ranked second in career wins, strikeouts, appearances and games started, while also placing in the top 10 for several single-season categories.

A Houston, Texas native, Jacobs graduated from Texas Tech in the spring of 2011 with a degree in electronic media and communications. She is currently working on her masters in sports marketing and management.
