SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011)
Immediately bolstered the middle of Tech's lineup during first season wearing scarlet and black ... All-Big 12 second team ... Academic All-Big 12 second team ... started in all 58 games, mainly at first base ... recorded a .352 batting average to go along with 16 home runs and 62 RBI ... her home runs set a new single-season school record, while her RBI count is believe to be the second-most all-time ... two of her home runs have been grand slams ... also added nine doubles, two triples, and a .772 slugging percentage ... came close to snapping the school record for walks in a year with 37 ... began the year slow with a 3-for-14 showing at the Kajikawa Classic ... eventually got her bat going as Tech returned home for 25-straight home games ... had two hits and four RBI in both games of the doubleheader against New Mexico ... finished an eight-game stretch from New Mexico into the Masked Rider Invitational 12-for-18 at the plate with six home runs and 20 RBI ... was named the Big 12 Player of the Week for her success ... helped pull Tech back into the game with Liberty, nailing a two-run homer ... IN BIG 12 PLAY ... hitting .313 against conference pitching, third-highest on the team ... connected on three home runs as well ... her 18 RBI was second in league only games among Big 12 players ... totaled five doubles as well ... had a career day in the series finale at Iowa State ... finished 4-for-4 at the plate with eight RBI ... her RBI total matched the school's single-game record ... was a triple shy of the cycle ... the game was her third-straight with a home run ... also added two more Tech's next home date against Kansas ... homered in both games of the doubleheader ... had an RBI double against Texas A&M in the series finale ... Set several ASU and Lone Star Conference records in her only season ... compiled a .403 batting average while hitting 25 home runs and 21 doubles ... her 25 home runs set a new Angelo State and Lone Star Conference record ... also totaled a 0.893 slugging percentage, the highest in ASU history ... named the Lone Star Conference South Division Freshman of the Year ... also named to the conference's south division first team at first base ... honored by Daktronics as the South Central Player of the Year ... also earned first team accolades from Daktronics for the All-South Central Region squad ... NFCA second team All-American selection ... set a new ASU record during the season with a 24-game hit streak ... named the Lone Star Conference South Division Hitter of the Week three times during the season.
