2010
Please, karma, please stop hurting her! A nagging knee injury was followed by a stepped on finger, but neither has slowed her much (although we're not trying to tempt any more fate by saying that!)... has 24 hits in 64 at bats which means her career average is now .326, 4th best and only a point behind teammate Stephanie Drewry in the all-time category... has started 22 games with her best 2010 effort a 3-for-3 performance vs. Texas Southern with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI... with 5 for 7 in stolen bases she now has 37 in her career, 3rd-best.

Tech Career Highs
Hits: 4, twice, last time vs. UTSA 3/30/09
Runs: 3, multiple times
RBI: 4 vs. South Dakota State 3/12/09
Hitting Streak: 9 games from 3/10 through 3/17

2009
The most experienced of the returning position players (all 57 games started and her third year as a starter in a third different position), she now ranks fourth all-time on Tech's career batting average list with a .319 mark... played outfield in her freshman year, shortstop in her sophomore year and second base as a junior... she hit .318 last year with 55 hits, including a double and a triple... speaking of triples, she ranks fourth on Tech's all-time list with five, three-baggers and has a very realistic shot at overtaking the leader (Denise Jackson and Paula Workman each with eight)... an accomplished thief (don't tell her folks), she has 33 stolen bases which ranks third, all-time at Tech... her 144 all-time hits ranks seventh best as we enter the season... she had 13 multi-hit games in 2009 and established a career-best hitting streak on a nine-game tear midseason... she has earned Dean's List honors every semester, has been Academic All Big 12 each year she has been eligible and she has earned her team's McHaney Scholar student-athlete award this year.

2008

CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VI Softball first-team selection ... Hit .328 for the season ... Drove in a career-high seven runs ... Finished the year with 21 multi-hit games, including six three-hit games ... Had a career-best seven-game hitting streak from March 29 to April 10 ... Ended the season on a three-game hitting streak ... A solid table-setter, she will lead Tech's offense in 2009 ... An Honors College student in Business, with a minor in Spanish at Texas Tech, she currently sports a near-perfect g.p.a. which earned her the Margaret E. Wilson award in 2008, an award given to the females student-athlete with the highest overall g.p.a.

2007
Her game-saving catches in the Big 12 Tournament earned her the respect of even the opponent's fans: a shoe-string grab to save a game-winning run against No. 5 Baylor and then a dramatic over-the-fence catch to record an out instead of a would-be winning home run against No. 7 Texas A&M ... Early in the season she had a 5-game hitting streak and finished the year with a .300 average and 24 hits ... May be forced into the infield this year because of injuries, but her speed and success as an outfielder are unarguable ... An Honors College student at Texas Tech, she currently sports a President's List g.p.a. (which means that it's perfect).

High School
