Used a medical redshirt year after knee surgery put a fairly big crimp in her season ... Therefore, she is academically a junior, but athletically a sophomore again ... A leader involved in many community projects, Matthews currently serves as a Vice President in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) ... is an honor roll student as well.

2007 (Freshman)
Was a key pinch runner for Coach Wilson in 2007 and was back up for three infield positions while making the transition from high school to college ...
