Played for one of the best high school programs in the state ... four-year starter for the class 2A program ... squad won the 2012 Arizona state championship her sophomore year ... finished with three hits and two runs scored in the title game ... Cowgirls had previously fallen in the state title game the previous year ... was named to the first-team All-State team all four seasons ... earned first team all-division honors each season as well ... named the Section Player of the Year as a senior where she hit .439 overall with eight home runs and 31 RBI ... also totaled 11 doubles and seven triples ... was the small school Player of the Year as a senior by the Arizona Daily Star ... also the Willcox High School Female Athlete of the Year that year as well ... hit .604 as a junior with 54 runs scored and 35 RBI ... also recorded seven home runs as well.
