Used more in the field as opposed to in the circle during sophomore year ... appeared in 43 total games while making seven starts ... only three of those appearances came in the circle ... saw action mainly as a pinch runner late in the year ... frustrated opponents with her speed, going 12-for-13 in stolen base attempts ... her 12 stolen bases were second on the team only behind Mikey Kenney's 16 ... was one stolen base shy of entering the top 10 in single-season history ... also hit .200 on the year as she was 5-for-25 at the plate ... drove in her two RBI on the year with a single against Stephen F. A four-year all-district selection at Midway High School in Waco ... played for a very successful program at Midway ... teammate of current Red Raider Holley Gentsch as a freshman and sophomore ... team advanced to the regional quarterfinals in 2007 and 2009 after a state semifinalist appearance in 2008 ... squad won the Class 4A State Championship in 2010 ... pitched a no-hitter in the game to go along with 15 strikeouts ... also had the game-winning RBI off a double in the 1-0 victory ... was named the tournament MVP ... profiled by ESPN Rise as the website's Player of the Month in June 2010 following the tournament performance ... finished her senior season with a 31-1-1 record on the mound with a 0.36 ERA ... also stuck out 428 batters and 20 shutouts ... six of those shutouts were no-hitters and 11 were one-hitters ... hit .413 at the plate with a .504 on-base percentage ... named the district MVP in both her junior and senior seasons ... was on the Waco Tribune Super Centex team her final three seasons ... was the Super Centex Player of the Year those years as well ... All-State selection her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons ... Class 4A Player of the Year her senior year ... was also a member of the basketball team that won the state title in 2009.
