Box Score

SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas Tech softball team rallied in the sixth, but it was not enough to hold off the Texas State Bobcats who came back in the bottom of the sixth to defeat the Red Raiders, 7-5.

The Red Raiders two-out rally got started when freshman, Devin Zaragoza scored on a single to right field from sophomore Brandy Moulin. The Red Raiders loaded the bases and freshman Jennifer Bowers slammed a homerun over the right field fence.

The Lady Bobcats scored one run the first inning, three runs in the second and sealed the victory with three runs in the sixth.
