TEXAS TECH TEAM NOTES
• Texas Tech and DePaul faced each other for the second-straight year in Las Vegas as the Red Raiders took a 2-1 victory over the Blue Demons.
• With the victory, DePaul now leads the all-time series between the two schools with a 2-1 advantage.
• Both of Texas Tech's losses so far this season have come to teams either ranked or receiving votes in one of the two top-25 polls.
• Texas Tech's four hits in the game marked its fewest this weekend and its fewest since closing the 2012 season with just three base hits against Harvard.
• The Red Raiders scored in the opening inning for the fourth time this weekend as Mikey Kenney connected on a solo home run to left field. Texas Tech has plated 13 of its 34 runs so far this season during the first inning.
• After combining for eight errors over two games on Saturday, Texas Tech was flawless in the field with no errors for the second time in five games this weekend.

Mikey Kenney
• Kenney took the first pitch of the first inning and connected on her school-record 34th career home run, driving the ball deep over the fence in left field.
• It was the third time in Kenney's career she had led off a game with a home run and the first time since opening the March 2 game against UT Arlington last year with a dinger.

Shelby Johnson
• Johnson reached base for the fifth time this weekend as she drew a first-inning walk. She also stole two bases, giving her three already this season.

Nikki Dunlap
• Dunlap made her first career start at third base as she went 0-for-2 at the plate with a walk.
