TEMPE, Ariz. - Texas Tech fell victim to a couple of solid pitching outings from a pair of hurlers from Utah and California as the Red Raiders fell to the Utes 8-2 and to the Golden Bears 12-4 as action concluded late Saturday night.

Tech managed several several hits during the two games, but it was unable to get runners across in several key spots. Tye Coats went 2-3 with a homerun, and Montana Patin also went 2-3 to lead the way against Utah. Ashly Jacobs (0-2) picked up the loss in the circle against the Utes. Against the Golden Bears, Jennifer Bowers led the way by going 2-3 with a homerun and an RBI. Patin went 1-2 with an RBI, while Sarah Losleben (0-3) picked up the loss in the circle.

The Red Raiders will look to rebound Sunday morning when they take on Western Kentucky to finish off the Kajikawa Tournament. First pitch is set for 10 a.m. CT.
