It took the Red Raiders three games to finally score a run in the Campbell/Cartier Softball Classic. But, when it rains-it pours as Tech went on to win it's next two games over Sacramento State 4-1 and San Diego State 4-1.

The Red Raiders were led by a solid pitching effort by sophomore Amanda Renfro. Renfro pitched all three games while striking out 18 batters. Tech was led offensively by senior Kim Martinez who had two home-runs on the day.

Tech lost its first game of the day to Cal-State Northridge 8-0. The Red Raiders will face UC-Santa Barbara and Cal-State Fullerton in the final day of tournament play tomorrow.
