  • Prior to today's win, Tech's previous longest win streak was 15-straight games from Feb. 13-March 6 of last year. Tech snapped the streak in a 5-2 loss to Wichita State in the second tournament game of the day on March 6.

  • The win also snapped the school's longest home winning streak which was previously 10-straight games set Feb. 19-March 6 of last year. Tech has now won 11-straight at Rocky Johnson Field.

  • Mikey Kenney has now had at least one hit in 10-straight games for the Red Raiders. She extended her career-long hit streak with a 3-for-4 day the plate that included a run scored from the leadoff spot.

  • Stephanie Drewry added a 2-for-3 day at the plate, scoring three runs while adding a RBI off a double in the fourth inning.

  • Logan Hall was held without a RBI for the first time all weekend. The junior infielder still finished 16 RBIs during the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic after a 1-for-2 day at the plate that included a run scored and an intentional walk.

  • Randi Tongate smashed her second home run in the season to start a one-out rally for the Red Raiders. Making her fourth start of the year behind the plate, Tongate finished 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored.

  • With Tongate's home run, Tech has now had a home run in six of its last seven games. The Red Raiders were held homerless in last night's 8-0 victory over Northern Illinois.

  • After 16 games played, Brittany Talley and Ashley Brokeshoulder share the team lead for wins after Talley earned the win today to improve to 5-0 on the year.

  • Tech committed no errors in the game for the fourth time this season. The Red Raiders had previously been error-free against Appalachian State (Feb. 13), Bryant (Feb. 20), and St. John's (Feb. 26).
