LUBBOCK, Texas - Senior Natalie Enderlin went 2 for 3 at the plate and had two RBI, but it was not enough to overcome UC Riverside as the Red Raiders fell 5-3. The Red Raiders are now 8-8 on the season as they complete the final day of the 2005 Mutual of Omaha Tournament.

Senior Natalie Enderlin was the first to score for the Red Raiders as she nailed a homerun to left field in the first inning.

UCR came out in the fourth inning and posted four runs. The Highlanders loaded the bases for junior Melissa Sanchez as she smashed a grand slam to left center.

Tech scored two more runs in the fifth inning, bringing the score to 4-3, UCR. Freshman Jennifer Bowers arrived on base first for the Red Raiders as she was hit by the pitch. Sophomore Ashley Parker scored for the Red Raiders after an error on the pitcher.

UCR scored one more run in the seventh inning as Sanchez hit a double down the right field line scoring Jennifer Thompson bringing the final score to 5-3.

The Red Raiders are in action again March 11-13 at the Wichita St. Tournament.
