LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech fastpitch softball team's 11 a.m. game against No.13 ranked Nebraska today in the H.I.T. tournament was rained out. Today's games were canceled and will not be made up. The Red Raiders were 4-1 in the tournament and were entering the semifinals today. Their season record is now 27-7.

Next up for Texas Tech is a trip to California to play double headers against St. Mary University, San Jose State, Santa Clara and Stanford over a five day stretch.

The Red Raiders will return to Lubbock for practice in one week before traveling to Kansas and Missouri to begin conference play.
