• The matchup was the first between the two schools.

• The Red Raiders have now won their last 10 games heading into Sunday's finale against Liberty.

• Randi Tongate had an RBI for her fourth-straight game as the sophomore finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored as well. She is currently riding a five game hitting streak.

• Mikey Kenney's two-run double in the fourth was her 13th of the season, which not only leads the team but the Big 12 as well.

• Raven Richardson also added a 2-for-3 day at the plate, her eighth multiple hit game of the year.

• Brittany Talley went the full seven innings for the third time this season. She had previously thrown two shutouts this season against Bryant (Feb. 20) and Dayton (March 4), but neither game went the full seven innings.

• Talley and fellow left-hander Kelsey Dennis have combined to allow just three runs this weekend over 28.2 total innings. Both pitchers have earned two wins each.
