Red Raider Softball Wins Game One of Oklahoma City Doubleheader, 4-0|

LUBBOCK, Texas - Freshman Jennifer Corkin went 2 for 3 at the plate and junior pitcher Erin Crawford pitched five innings with seven strikeouts and no walks to help lead the Red Raiders to a 4-0 win over Oklahoma City in the first game of the doubleheader.
Tech scored in the first inning as freshman Whitney Riley smashed a homerun down the left field line. Senior Kelly Rhyne doubled down the left field line to score Corkin who reached base on a double to right field.
The Red Raiders scored two more runs in the second inning. Sophomore Heather Parker singled to shortstop and then stole second. Senior Lisa Lawler singled to left center and advanced Parker to third. Parker scored during the play at second when Lawler was thrown out. Senior Natalie Enderlin singled through the right side and then stole second. Riley reached on an error by third base as Enderlin scored on the throw.
Crawford was the pitcher of record getting her 10th win of the season. Freshman Sarah Losleben pitched two innings of relief facing two batters and getting two strikeouts and no walks.
