Recap |  Box Score

• With the loss, Tech is now 2-3 against the Sooners over the last two years and 31-6 all-time in the series. The two teams have split the regular season series in each of the last two seasons.

Emily Bledsoe's walk in the first inning marked the 39th time in Tech's 40 games this season she has reached base.

Mikey Kenney's doubles in the sixth and seventh innings give her 15 on the year, which is tops in the Big 12 Conference. Kenney finished 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Cydney Allen finished 2-for-3 at the plate as well with two RBIs and a run scored. Allen and Kenney both now have 12 multiple-hit games this year, while Allen recorded her team-leading 14th multiple-RBI game. It marked Kenney's eighth game with multiple RBIs.

• The loss dropped Tech to 9-14 against ranked opponents under second-year head coach Shanon Hays. The Red Raiders are also 3-3 against ranked teams this year.

• Hays stayed with the same lineup Saturday as the series opener the night before, going with Logan Hall once again in the leadoff spot with Mikey Kenney moving to No. 3 in the order.

• Tech extended its error-less streak to 34.2 straight innings that dates back to the third inning against Boston University on March 19. The Red Raiders have not had an error in eight of their last nine games.

Karli Merlich had one of her best outings this season in relief as she did not allow a hit over the final 2.2 innings.
