No. 6 Oklahoma Holds Off Texas Tech in Game One of Doubleheader|

LUBBOCK, Texas - No. 6 Oklahoma held off the late rally by the Red Raiders as the Sooners won 8-5. The Red Raiders are now 22-14 on the season and 2-5 in Big 12 while Oklahoma is 39-7 overall and 7-1 in conference.
Oklahoma scored five runs in the first inning to take the lead and then the Red Raiders held the Sooners to only three runs in the next six innings.
Tech posted three runs in the fourth inning as Bowers doubled up the middle and drove in freshman Jennifer Corkin. Sophomore Natalie Kula cleared the bases as she singled up the middle and scored Kelly Rhyne and Bowers.
The Red Raiders cut the lead to 8-5 in the fifth inning when freshman Whitney Riley doubled to centerfield and scored Devin Zaragoza who reached base on a single to shortstop and Ashley Parker who reached base on a fielder's choice by the pitcher.
