• Texas Tech improved to 29-14 on the year with the victory, leaving the Red Raiders one shy of their fifth straight 30-win season. Tech is one of just three Big 12 programs (Oklahoma, Texas) to record 30 wins in each of the past four seasons.
• The Red Raiders completed an impressive comeback with four runs in the seventh inning. The late inning heroics marked the most runs scored by Texas Tech in the seventh this year.
• Texas Tech had previously only scored four runs in the seventh inning this year before doubling that total in tonight's victory.
• The victory marked the first time Texas Tech had an overcome a deficit when heading into the seventh inning since defeating Appalachian State, 10-9, on Feb. 13, 2011, during the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz.
• The Red Raiders are now 1-10 this year when trailing after six innings.
• Texas Tech improved to 2-2 this year in three-game series openers this year and 1-2 now in Big 12 Conference play.
• Texas Tech is now 9-1 in night games this year and 28-20 all-time under Shanon Hays.
• Texas Tech improved to 26-5 this year when scoring at least three runs in a game.
• Texas Tech is 17-2 when hitting a home run this year as Gretchen Aucoin connected on a solo shot in the fifth inning.
• Texas Tech improved to 14-4 at Rocky Johnson Field this year with the victory. The Red Raiders are 88-36 all-time under Shanon Hays on their home field.
• Texas Tech's two sacrifice flies were its most since recording two as well on March 19 in the first game of a doubleheader against North Texas.

Shanon Hays
• Hays improved to 180-91 all-time at Texas Tech with the win. He is now six wins shy of 300 for his career as he is now 294-107 in his six-plus seasons as a collegiate softball coach.
• Hays improved to 6-5 all-time against Oklahoma State.

Sydni Emanuel
• Emanuel finished 3-for-4 at the plate for her team-leading 16th multiple-hit game this season.
• Emanuel scored the tying two runs with a RBI single in the seventh inning. It was her sixth multiple-RBI game this year and her first during Big 12 play.

Gretchen Aucoin
• Aucoin connected on her third home run of the season en route to finishing 2-for-3 at the plate, marking her second multiple-hit game this year.
• Aucoin added a RBI single for Texas Tech in the seventh as she finished with two RBI. It was her fifth multiple-RBI game this season.

Cara Custer
• Custer picked up her 51st career victory, moving her into a tie for second all-time at Texas Tech with Ashly Jacobs (2007-10). Amanda Renfro leads all Red Raiders with 93 victories over the 1998-2001 seasons.

Kristi Belshe
• Belshe recorded her fourth game-winning RBI of the season with her sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. Her four game-winning RBI games are tied with Samantha Camello for second on the team behind only Gretchen Aucoin (5).

Lea Hopson
• Hopson connected on her team-leading 10th double of the season to lead off the seventh inning for the Red Raiders.
