• The three runs in the game marked the lowest scoring contest for Tech this season. The previous low was four runs on March 19 as the Red Raiders defeated Chattanooga, 3-1.

• The Red Raiders are now 1-3 in series openers against ranked teams this season. Tech has not defeated a ranked opponent in the series finale so far this season.

• Tech's middle of the lineup of Mikey Kenney, Sandy James, and Cydney Allen combined to go 0-for-9 in the game. It marked the first game this season all three players had been held without a hit.

• Allen's 0-for-3 day at the plate broke her season-high seven game hitting streak.

Emily Bledsoe's leadoff single to start the game marked the 46th game this season she has reached base. It is the 12th straight game Bledsoe has reached base as well.

• The Red Raiders were previously 2-0 this season in extra inning games. Tech's last extra inning game came on March 20 when the Red Raiders defeated Liberty, 6-5 in nine innings.

• The loss marked Tech's first when holding its opponent between 0-2 runs. The Red Raiders were previously 24-0 this year.

Holley Gentsch's RBI single in the fifth kept Tech from being shutout for the first time this season. Tech's one run matched its season low.

Kelsey Dennis' 7.1 innings pitched marked her longest outing of the season and ninth complete game. Her last complete game was Tech's 5-0 win over Oklahoma on April 1.
