• Texas Tech clinched the series with Kansas with the victory. The Red Raiders previously topped Kanas, 7-5, on Thursday evening.
• The Red Raiders are now 17-29 all-time against the Jayhawks and 8-10 when playing in Lawrence.
• This was the first extra-inning game all-time between the two schools.
• The 16 combined runs were the most in the series Kansas claimed a 12-7 victory over the Red Raiders on March 29, 2012, in Lawrence.
• Texas Tech's nine runs were its most against the Jayhawks since pulling off a 10-0 run-rule of Kansas on April 11, 2011, in Lubbock.
• With the victory, Texas Tech has won five of the past six games against Kansas on the road.

• The victory marked Texas Tech's third straight in Big 12 play, its longest streak since defeating No. 5 Texas on April 11, 2012, and then No. 9 Missouri on April 13-14.
• Texas Tech had not previously won back-to-back series during Big 12 play since the conference turned to three-game sets prior to the 2012 season. The Red Raiders took two-of three games from Oklahoma State a week ago.

• The Red Raiders were out-hit by Kansas, 10-9, on the night, improving Texas Tech to 7-10 when failing to record more hits than its opponent this year.
• Texas Tech scored in the opening inning for the 23rd time this season. The Red Raiders are now 18-5 in those games this year.
• Texas Tech improved to 24-4 this year when scoring before its opponent.

• Kansas' seven runs were the most by the Texas Tech pitching staff in a win since the Red Raiders defeated UMKC, 16-8, on March 10 last year.
• Texas Tech's seven runs allowed were its most allowed to a Big 12 opponent in a win since run-ruling Iowa State, 19-7, on March 30, 2012.

• Texas Tech stole four bases in the game as the Red Raiders snapped the single-season school record with 85 now on the year. Tech tied the previous record of 81 from 2001 on Thursday.
• Texas Tech stole four bases for the third-consecutive game. The Red Raiders have 11 stolen bases over their last three games alone.

Shanon Hays
• Hays improved to 183-92 all-time at Texas Tech with the victory. Hays now needs just three more wins to reach 300 for his career as he is now 297-108 in his seventh season as a collegiate head coach.
• Hays improved to 7-5 all-time against Kansas with the victory. He is 5-1 now when facing the Jayhawks in Lawrence.

Gretchen Aucoin
• Aucoin crushed her fifth home run of the season with a three-run shot in the opening inning. IT was Aucoin's third home run already this year during Big 12 play.
• Aucoin added a RBI single in the ninth en route to matching her career high with four RBI. She previously recorded four RBI on March 22 this year against Texas State.
• Aucoin finished 2-for-4 at the plate for her third multiple-hit game this season.
• Aucoin picked up the win in the circle, her second already in the series. She is now one winy shy of doubling her win total from her 2013 freshman season.

Sydni Emanuel
• Emanuel recorded her fourth multiple-hit game in the past five games by going 2-for-4 in the leadoff spot. Emnauel leads all Red Raiders with 19 multiple-hit games this year.
• Emanuel stole a pair of bases in the win, giving her 33 now for the year which is one shy of the Texas Tech single-season record of 34 that was set in 2006 by Ashley Parker.

Brittany Lee
• Lee finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a key RBI double in the ninth inning. It was the second double of the season for Lee, who also recorded her fifth multiple-hit game of the year.

Kristi Belshe
• Belshe drove a pinch hit three-run double in the ninth inning. It was the most runs driven in by a Texas Tech pinch hitter this year.
• Belshe's three RBI in the win marked her team-leading eighth multiple-RBI game this year.
• Belshe's three RBI matched her season high set twice earlier this year aginst Weber State on Feb. 15 and UT Arlington on March 6.

Brittany Talley
• Talley tossed 5.1 solid innings of relief for the Red Raiders. It was the 127th appearance of her career.
