COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M Jana James went 3 for 3 with two RBI to help lead the No. 5 Aggies to a 8-0 win over the Red Raiders Sunday afternoon in College Station. The Red Raiders fall to 22-21 on the season and 2-12 in Big 12 while the Aggies advance to 41-4 overall and 12-2 in conference.

The Aggies scored in the first inning with a double from James to left field that scored lead-off hitter Sharonda McDonald. Jame Hinshaw led off the third inning with a double to right center and then was batted in when James followed with a double to left center.

The Red Raiders made a pitching change, as Julie Hauck started the game for Tech and Sarah Losleben came in. James then scored when Amanda Scarborough singled to left field. The Aggies had the bases loaded from a walk, a hit and then a player that was hit by a pitch when Rocky Spencer was walked in for another run.

With the bases still loaded, McDonald tripled to left field to clear all three runners bringing the score to 7-0. The Aggies ended the game in the fifth inning when Nicole Robinson pinch hit and hit a single up the middle to score the winning run and making the final score 8-0. Megan Gibson pitched the whole game for the Aggies

Senior Natalie Enderlin single to right field in the first inning and sophomore Heather Parker singled to left field in the fifth inning to account for the Red Raiders two hits.

Hauck started the game for Tech throwing for two innings giving up five hits, four runs and two walks. Losleben threw one inning with three hits, three runs and three walks while Crawford threw for one inning with three hits and one run.
