LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech softball squad's doubleheader against Texas A&M scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been moved to Thursday afternoon due to forecasts of inclement weather.

First pitch for the twinbill has been set for 1 p.m., with the second game to follow at approximately 3 p.m.

Tech and A&M split last year's doubleheader in College Station, with the Aggies taking a 2-1 decision in eight innings in the opening contest before the Red Raiders rallied for an 8-1 victory in the second game.

Tech holds a 1-3 all-time record versus Texas A&M in Lubbock, dropping a pair of contests in 1996 and splitting a doubleheader in 1999.

The Red Raiders continue conference action this weekend with a pair of games in Lincoln, Neb., against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday and Sunday.
