LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders continue conference action this weekend when they host the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday and Sunday at Rocky Johnson Field. Game time is set for 1 p.m. both days.

Tech owns a 5-8 mark against the Jayhawks, including 2-5 in Lubbock. The Red Raiders swept a twinbill last season in Lawrence, with Tech taking an 8-0 victory on April 8 before winning 1-0 the following day.

In 1999 the Jayhawks split a conference doubleheader in Lubbock, winning the first game, 4-1, before the Red Raiders won the second contest by the same score. The two teams also met that season at the Hillenbrand Invitational in Tucson, Ariz., with Kansas taking a 1-0 victory.

Tech hits the road next week for a doubleheader at Baylor on Wednesday at 5 & 7 p.m. before hosting defending national champion Oklahoma next weekend.
